Sent to you - Latest Global News from the Raw Milk Industry!

9 months ago The Raw Milk Connect Portal went live. So, where are we heading?
The quick answer to above is “we do not know exactly”. But a big group of you has tried to help us find out by answering the survey we launched back in December!
Thank you so much to all of you! - More than 40 people have spent time answering our questionnaire!
A small appreciation is on its way to Germany, to Thomas Hauch from MPR Bayern who won the draw.

On the portal you can read much more about the answers we got, here just a small summary:

•

We have readers in all continents, - and we received answers from all continents except Africa

•  Answers were predominantly very positive but also with good points on where to put future focus.
Not surprisingly, news and blog posts are top rated for 'usefulness', but also posters and vendors catalogue respondents rated of great use on the Portal
•  More than 75% of the respondents take a look at our portal when we send out the newsletter, only a few routinely take a look weekly
•  To enhance the portal and increase activity (traffic) almost 75% proposes more articles about other labs and more activity in the Forum
•  Many requests webinars on hot topics (30%) and 45% requests training courses online.
On our blog we will upload more details on the survey, and also reveal some of our plans for the future.

Best regards

Since, we have had the opportunity to present Raw Milk Connect at various meetings and conferences in The USA, France, Italy and Denmark. We also had a well visited stand at the World Dairy Summit in Parma, Italy, in October 2011, where we received an encouraging response.

How can the proficiency of your inhibitor testing be monitored?

From Dr. Christian Baumgartner (MPR Bayern e.V., Germany) and Christa Bout (QSE GmbH, Germany), Raw Milk Connect has received one recipe on how to do this which has proved to be successful to many labs in Central Europe.
