Also Denmark has now introduced PCR analyses on milk recording samples as an offer to all milk producers. The back ground for starting up doing this was a large study done on bulk and single cow samples over the last 2 years.   What can we used the ICAR meeting in Cork for? ...

New Blog Post: One of the topics in the program is 'Can Milk Recording improve the profitability?' Raw Milk Connect want to contribute to this topic and will up to the meeting in Cork upload several blogs touching upon this subject.

In the near future we will start up the discussion - and we hope for an input from Craig Bell, Herd Testing Manager in New Zealand, who will share with us what the present benefits of milk recording is for New Zealand dairy farmers. Uffe Lauritsen, President for ICAR will also contribute with his input on how to further improve the outcome from milk recording. We very much hope that a lot of you will take the opportunity to participate in the discussion! ...


 
 
 


 
On Farm forage analyses with NIR...

The last article from RMC’s visit in France will soon be available and will deal with one of the latest initiatives in Clasel. They have in cooperation with an Italian equipment supplier started up in house and on farm NIR analyses of feed and forage.
